Who We Help

The Giving Circle of Alexandria invests 100% of member contributions in programs addressing Parental Engagement. This strategy addresses a variety of concerns highlighted by the many members of our collaborative gift process, including Alexandria Community Trust, non-profit, City and school leaders. 

We believe a child’s parents or primary caregivers are the strongest assets a child has, and that helping parents obtain the education and support they need is the best way to establish a strong foundation for their children’s success. By helping parents engage in their children’s social, emotional and cognitive development, the Giving Circle of Alexandria is helping ensure children’s well-being and laying a foundation for long-term success.
