Learn More about Community Needs

Part of the Giving Circle’s mission is to help Alexandria women better understand community needs and solutions that work. To do this, we provide educational events each year, our Fall and Spring Forums.

These events are both social and substantive; we bring together members and community leaders so that we may connect with each other, learn more about the issues facing Alexandria’s families and ideas for possible solutions. Guest speakers in the past have included The Honorable Steven J. Rideout, retired Chief Judge of Alexandria Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court and Margaret Spellings, U.S. Secretary of Education

In addition, The Giving Circle publishes regular newsletters and community updates via email so members are aware of The Giving Circle’s work, gift recommendations, volunteer opportunities and other events. Click the subscribe link in the list at the left and see what we are up to!
